At Gallatin River Golden Retrievers, we are a family-owned breeder dedicated to raising gentle, well-adjusted golden retriever puppies. Our AKC-registered pups are born and raised on our hobby farm in the beautiful Gallatin Valley of Montana, where they get to play and thrive in a nurturing environment. They are around young kids and other animals daily which helps them become very social and sweet little companions. These pups are the perfect family addition!
What sets our PROGRAM apart
One of the most meaningful aspects of our breeding program is the environment in which our puppies are raised. Rather than a separate or isolated setting, our puppies are born and nurtured in the heart of our home, where they are naturally integrated into daily family life. This provides a form of early neurological stimulation that is both consistent and organic.
With four homeschooled children actively involved, each puppy experiences gentle, varied handling from an early age. This exposure helps them become comfortable with different people, touch styles, and interactions—an important foundation for confidence and adaptability. Throughout the day, puppies are also introduced to a wide range of everyday sights, sounds, and activities, from household routines to outdoor experiences on our homestead.
Because these interactions occur naturally as part of our lifestyle, puppies benefit from steady, low-stress exposure rather than structured or artificial stimulation alone. This approach supports healthy neurological development, promotes resilience, and helps prepare each puppy to transition more smoothly into family life.

Our Story
Hi! I'm Kasie, and we are a small family-owned breeder located in beautiful Montana. I have loved Golden Retrievers since I got my first dog, Leo, when I was 16 years old (he's pictured here). I breed Goldens for a few reasons: first and foremost, I have a passion for the breed! Additionally, I am a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom, and breeding dogs allows me to run my own business while being present with my family. Lastly, breeding runs in my family; my mom has been breeding for over eight years, providing me with invaluable support and mentorship. I feel incredibly blessed to raise these amazing puppies for families to love.

Our Facilities
Our puppies enjoy playing on our hobby farm, located in the picturesque Gallatin Valley of Montana. This beautiful setting allows them to explore and develop their natural instincts in a safe and loving space. They are exposed to many different animals and people as they grow. They get to be inside with our family and have plenty of outside room to play.
